For visitors
What is the address of Expohal Assen?
Expohal Assen is located right next to the TT Circuit. The official address is De Haar 11, 9405 TE Assen.
What about parking and what are the costs?
There is a large car park around the hall with space for more than 6,500 vehicles. Parking rates may vary per event. Please note the current rates set by the organiser of the specific event. On-site parking signs will guide you to the correct bays. Reserved spaces for people with disabilities are available close to the main entrance.
Is there catering on site and can I bring my own food and drinks?
Yes, there are various catering points and central food counters in the hall. Bringing and consuming your own food and drinks inside the building is not permitted.
I have lost something or found an item. What should I do?
Found items can be handed in at the central information desk in the entrance hall. Lost something yourself? Contact us or check the current list of found items at the information desk.
Can I smoke or vape inside Expohal Assen?
No, the entire building is smoke- and vape-free. Smoking tobacco and using e-cigarettes or vapes is only allowed outside at designated locations.
Can I pay by card at Expohal Assen?
Yes, the venue is fully equipped for card payments. At the central catering points and tills you can pay quickly and securely contactless. Please note that individual exhibitors may sometimes accept cash only.
Are there fixed opening hours?
Expohal Assen does not have fixed daily opening hours. The doors open only during scheduled events. See the events calendar for exact opening times and programmes.
Is the event hall accessible for people with disabilities?
Yes. The entire exhibition hall is on one level and step-free. There are wide aisles and accessible toilet facilities. Special parking spaces for people with disabilities are located close to the main entrance.
Can I bring my dog or pet inside?
Pets are not allowed in the hall for safety and hygiene reasons. Certified assistance and support dogs are an exception, provided they are clearly on a lead.

What is the maximum capacity of Expohal Assen?
With a contiguous floor area of 14,000 m² plus a 1,000 m² foyer, the hall accommodates large-scale productions. Depending on the layout (trade fair, conference or concert), the venue holds up to 17,000 standing visitors or 13,000 seated.
Can an indoor motorsport track be built?
Yes. The hall lends itself to unique indoor motorsport concepts, tractor pulling or equestrian sport. Thanks to a floor load of 1,000 kg/m², eight large transport doors and a flexible setup, sand tracks and heavy machinery can be accommodated.

Which facilities are included as standard?
When you hire the hall you benefit from a central main kitchen of 228 m² and various fixed catering points, modern office and meeting rooms for the organisation, powerful utilities (power, water and fast internet) and professionally ventilated halls.
